My Nebraska-sized Arse

It's been quite a while since I wrote a blog post about search terms that led people to my blog.  { You can read the last one here if you'd like. }

I bet you're wondering about this title of this post.... well, keep reading.

{ Is this butt Nebraska-sized or what? }

Browsing the search terms that led people to my blog often has me laughing and also at times scratching my head. If anything, it's always an entertaining time browsing the search terms. Sometimes I'll find, sandwiched between normal keywords, the strangest words that led people to my blog. Take for instance "my Nebraska-sized arse". That one made me laugh out loud.

search terms I'm rather confused by:

" My Nebraska-sized arse "
I take offense to that. There's no way I would consider my arse to be the size of Nebraska, but my husband does love Nebraska football. Does that count? I did call myself a bad arse in this post. Maybe that's where the confusion lies?

" Chick fil a chocolate chunk cookie recipe "
There is no way I've got that recipe, but I do have a recipe for what I think are the best chocolate chip cookies ever! Seriously you need to make them. I had a woman leave a comment about how she was looking for the Chick fil a recipe, but she somehow stumbled upon the one I shared. Her whole family ate them up in no time! It's not the Chick fil a recipe but who's keeping track?

" Purchase images of Disney World "
There are no Disney World images for sale on my blog, but maybe I should start selling them. Nobody better be ripping off my Disney World images. Okay, thanks!

search terms that make me happy:

" Vika Jigulina "
Oh hey, someone likes my music. Thanks for finding me... even if it was accidental.

" Pilot wife problems "
One of the reasons I started this blog was to share some of the struggles and adventures I was having as the wife of a pilot. I'm glad that maybe at least one person has found something that can help them here.

" Pool time "
Lots of people end up on my blog post about free entrance to a Las Vegas swimming pool. Seriously, do yourself a favor and visit the M Resort pool if you're ever in Las Vegas. It's gorgeous! We happened to visit on a slow week day, and it was free entrance to the pool. You can still use the pool, even if you aren't a hotel guest, but it will cost you a bit. (I think ladies 21+ get in free though)

" Hoarding hotel toiletries "
I am purely entertained by this one, because I clearly have a hotel toiletry hoarding problem. Maybe I'll do a more recent post sharing my ever expanding stash of tiny shampoo and conditioner bottles. It's a sickness you guys.

My humorous rules for driving in Florida post still brings people to this blog a year later. Obviously it's not the most serious post I've ever written, but it's a fun one nonetheless. I still find most of these rules to be fairly true after living in the sunshine state for almost a year and a half.

Have you found some strange search words
that led people to your blog?

  1. My favorite is "no wire hangers" or "ruby sue and rocky" and of course there was "do pilots make a lot of money" Cracks me up. I'm pretty sure a "pilot wife" search is how I found your blog. :)
