Hey there! This is probably one of the longest breaks from blogging that I've taken in a very long time.
It's been nice to not worry about posting blogs,
even though I do wish I had more time in my days for writing.
I know this is a bit late,
but I wanted to share a
recap of our last year with you!
- I spent some time taking tons of photos and learning how to use my dSLR camera.
- Took some time to think about all the wonderful things I love about Denver. { here's my top 10 Denver list }
- We visited Texas. Read about our time in the quaint little town of Gruene here.
- My husband's new job had him in Las Vegas, so we spent a relaxing day together lounging next to the M Resort's pool. { see pictures here }
- Reflected on the charms of a small town during a short visit to Nebraska.

- Visited the Hoover Dam for the first time ever. We also took a tour of the facility!
- We moved! We drove all the way from Colorado to Florida! I also shared some of my tips for road trips.
- After getting settled in to our new 'home', we took some time to enjoy the beaches and sunsets of the Florida Gulf coast.
- We witnessed history in the making while watching the launch of NASA's shuttle Atlantis!
- Since we live in the land of the mouse (sort of but not really) we spent a day at Walt Disney World. We ended up visiting Downtown Disney and the parks last year.

- After months of searching, we finally found our very favorite beach here in Florida! Obviously we still have lots to see, but we found our new favorite beach.
- I took some photos of the Salvador Dali Museum in Saint Petersburg, Florida. { I have yet to go inside of that place. I see a goal for 2012 in the making! }
- We spent our first Thanksgiving without family since we have been together. That's almost 5 years just in case you didn't know. ;) I typically love the holidays.
- Our time in Florida also comprised of getting closer to nature and wildlife... like this very curious squirrel.
- We also ended 2012 by spending our very first Christmas in Florida. I'll be honest. It was tough for both of us.
Whew! 2011 was fun...
but we're definitely looking forward
to what 2012 brings.
{ sorry for the odd formatting of this post, apparently having a bulleted list messed things up a bit? }
If there's one thing I hope to do in 2012 it's to not stop blogging but to become an even better blogger. Not better in the sense of more blog posts, but better in the sense of becoming a better person which in turn will effect the quality of this blog. Cheers to a new year! (18 days late) (:
Loving the collage! So many happy memories huh! And I'm determined to master my dSLR in 2012!
